A profile or a website getting hacked would come as a no-shocker to people now as this has been going on for a while and most of us don’t really know what to do about it. We sure are against the activity but are we capable enough to deal with the situation or should we just let it be. Our privacy, peace of mind, and money are at stake as we sit here doing nothing. So what can be done to prevent our personal information from being exploited?

3 simplest ways: How To Protect Yourself From Cybercrime

There are many things that can be done on a personal level that can prevent your accounts and websites from being hacked. Let’s start with the basics.

We use passwords and pin codes to keep our stuff safe. We have so much information to conceal from others that we need to have a password on every other thing that we use, such as our phone, laptop, Facebook, Instagram, company websites, and bank accounts.

I know, remembering a unique password for everything is not that easy but that’s where we make the worst mistake.

There are so many people out there who prefer to keep the same password for everything and get their profiles hacked. If not this, they tend to keep such obvious passwords which make it easy for not only them but also the hacker who wants to get into the profile.

To make sure this doesn’t happen, form a password that you can guess correctly but the other person cannot. This could be your birthday but you can always change the sequence and form it in a way only you would know how to crack it.

Also, try to change or update your passwords on a regular basis so that no one is able to hack or guess your passwords even if they try their best.
